What is NativeShelf.com?
NativeShelf.com is a curated directory of indie apps for Apple platforms: macOS, iOS, iPadOS, watchOS and visionOS. Every listing is reviewed by a human before it goes live. No web apps, no SaaS dashboards, only apps you install on a Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch or Vision Pro.
How do I list my app?
Paste your App Store link (or website for apps distributed outside the Mac App Store) on the submit page. We auto-fill the name, icon, screenshots and price from the App Store. Free listings are reviewed by hand and require our badge on your website; Premium (€29 one-time) goes live instantly with no badge.
What is included with Premium?
Premium is €29 one-time: published instantly (no review queue), no badge required, App Store import of screenshots and ratings, dofollow links. No ranking boost: paid visibility is Promote.
Why does the free listing need a badge?
The badge links back to the directory, which keeps the free tier sustainable and grows the domain authority that every listed app benefits from. We re-check badges automatically; if it's removed, the free listing is unpublished after repeated failed checks.
What is Launch Week?
A one-time launch bundle for €69: Premium listing (live instantly, no badge), 7 days pinned to the top with a highlighted card, and a week of sponsorship in your app's category. Prefer to launch everywhere else yourself? The Launch Kit (€29) lists where to go, with ready-to-paste copy and a tracker.
Can I sponsor the directory?
Yes, with a few labeled sponsor slots. Booked by the week. Site-wide: right rail on every page, 3 slots, from €49/week. Category: "Consider instead" on every app page of one category plus the top of its rail, 2 slots, from €19/week. Prices rise as a week fills up; 10% off 4+ weeks, 15% off 8+. One-time payment, for live listings.
What is the Domain Rating shown here?
Domain Rating (DR) is a score from Ahrefs (0–100) that estimates the strength of a website's backlink profile. Click the DR badge to verify it on Ahrefs. We don't guarantee rankings, traffic or DR changes for listed apps.
Do you accept web apps or SaaS?
No. We only list native apps for Apple platforms (including apps distributed outside the App Store, like via Setapp, Homebrew or direct download). Cross-platform apps are fine as long as there's a real Mac or iOS app.
